New features, new products

The team have been busy again - new software features, new products from our partners at 2040.co.nz, and an update on manufacturing.  Check out the latest newsletter here: https://www.2040.co.nz/blogs/newsletter/battery-meters-car-batteries-trap-updates

Latest things to look out for:

  • Notification emails from our thermal camera with an automated thumbnail of what the camera has seen

  • Updates to our Sidekick app

  • A new battery meter product: helpful in the field if you forget which battery is which and useful back at home if you want to make sure your batteries are fully charged before you head out in the field

  • Cables to connect to car batteries in case you need an alternative power source

And, most importantly, we're very proud to have ten of our traps and ten of our cameras in the hands of the DOC team protecting nesting birds on the shores of Te Waihora.

As always, we welcome your feedback so don't hesitate to get in touch - leave a comment below or email us at blog@cacophony.org.nz.
